When you book a session, submit a contact form, or request availability, we collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number to communicate with you about your session
  • Session preferences such as date, time, location, and any notes you share
  • Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)
  • Your typed name and agreement when you accept our Photography Services Agreement, along with the date and time of acceptance

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

  • IP address for security purposes (rate limiting and contract agreement records)
  • Browser and device information (user agent) recorded with your contract agreement for verification purposes
  • Page views and performance data collected by Vercel Analytics to help us understand how the site is used and improve performance

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites. The only cookie our site sets is a session cookie for administrator access to our business portal.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Confirm and manage your photography session booking
  • Communicate with you about your session details, reminders, and photo delivery
  • Process payments for your session
  • Add your session to our business calendar
  • Send you your edited photos via a private online gallery
  • Respond to your inquiries through our contact form

Who We Share Your Information With

We share your information only with the following service providers, solely for the purposes described above:

  • Supabase hosts our database and file storage. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
  • Google (Calendar and Gmail) is used to schedule your session on our business calendar and send you email confirmations.
  • Vercel hosts our website and collects anonymous performance analytics. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Pixieset hosts your private photo gallery for download. Pixieset's privacy policy is available at pixieset.com/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Photo and Image Use

When booking, you may opt out of allowing us to use images from your session in our portfolio and marketing materials. If you do not opt out, we may feature select images on our website and social media. You can change this preference at any time by contacting us.

Images uploaded by our team for marketing purposes (portfolio, location previews, session promos) are stored in publicly accessible storage. Client gallery cover images are accessible by URL but are not indexed by search engines.

Data Retention

  • Booking records are retained as long as needed for business and legal purposes.
  • Online photo galleries remain active for 30 days after delivery, as described in our Photography Services Agreement.
  • Contract agreement records (including your typed name, IP address, and user agent) are retained as a legal record of your agreement.
  • Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records, such as contract agreements and payment records)
  • Opt out of marketing image use at any time

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian must be present for sessions involving minors under 18, as stated in our Photography Services Agreement.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
